Zander Arkin is a successful investor and consultant in the energy industry. For over 20 years, he has integrated his public policy background with corporate level management, financial analytics and transaction execution. His experience includes public policy, regulation, corporate strategy, project development and finance, and private equity investment management.
Currently, Zander serves as a co-founder and Senior Managing Director of Energyzt Analytics, which builds analytic and research products for the changing dynamics of natural gas, electricity, petrochemical, coal and rail industries. Energyzt also engineering services and economic modeling of electric power related infrastructure and assets such as detailed location price forecasting for major transmission control areas.
Previously, Zander held senior positions at Riverstone Holdings, LLC, and McKinsey & Co. in New York, San Francisco and London. He began his professional career at Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett in Washington, DC. Zander has also served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government, focusing on electric transmission and renewables development research within the Harvard Electricity Policy Group.
Zander has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Pomona College.
